Just a few months after the last visit, MoE is returning to Mexico with a brand new album. “La Bufa”, was recorded at TestaEstudio in León, Guanajuato, December 2017, and amplifies their connection to Mexico further. MoE will be celebrating the release with a release tour in Mexico with the eminent Descartes a Kant. Playing with the visual cliches of classic rock, mixed with the pristine sound of the band, «La Bufa» points to several directions in music history. The album cover is based on a loose and humoristic interpretation of the classic albums “Ace of spades” and “Tejas”. Whereas the music is a hot mix of influences and natural creative output. As always, MoE uses their playfulness to create music that crosses a several genres. This time combined with spoken words and instrumental passages, creating an album with even more dynamics than before. On «La Bufa» MoE goes back to the classic recording techniques with live recordings to tape, only with a few overdubs. The album was mixed and coproduced by Norwegian vizard Jørgen Træen, who also mixed «Examination of the eye of a horse». The album MoE considered their POP album. POP or NOT, «La Bufa» opens a new area for MoE.
